As the deadline draws near, more new sponsors step onboard the Atlantic Rowing Challenge and do their bit to help raise £100,000 for Breast Cancer Care.

ImageSequoia has just signed up to become the latest silver sponsor for the team. Describing themselves as 'heart and soul marketing' they are a creative agency from Chester who jumped at the chance to be associated with such a unique event. Sequoia already supports a number of local charities in the North West, but were intrigued by this challenge in particular and keen to get behind the team and show support. After all, everyone knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer.

ImageOverboard - A chance meeting at the Outdoors Show led to a practical demonstration of the Overboard waterproof storage bags. When Dan and Joel found out what the team are doing, they offered to supply them with bags straight away. Rachel and Lin tested both the tube bags and flat bags on the 48 hour row and they certainly lived up to their reputation of being virtually indestructible! Overboard also sell a neat waterproof MP3 case too - essential kit for ocean rowers!

ImageMDL Marinas continue their support, providing storage facilities and use of all of their UK marinas for the team. Already Lin and Rachel have made use of the facilities at Hamble Point, Brixham and Cobb's Quay Marinas, declaring the MDL teams to be extremely helpful in all cases.

Carman's Breakfast Bars - Only recently added to the UK's supermarket shelves, Rachel spotted these yummy museli bars and emailed Carman's Fine Foods in Australia to find out more. The challenge appealed to the Aussie team who have sent over enough boxes of bars to keep the hungry rowers in snacks for the whole row. It's great to receive such support from all over the world.Image
