Firstly the team are thrilled to announce backing from Harley-Davidson Financial Services, the finance arm of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles in the UK and Europe. Rachel and Lin are believed to be the only ocean rowing team ever to carry this iconic brand on their boat and it has certainly attracted lots of attention from members of the public at recent events.

Quite literally powered by Harley-Davidson Financial Services, the company stepped up to purchase the solar panels and AIS system, to provide essential energy and security for the boat. The AIS system provides the rowers with forward notice of large ships in their area and give them chance to contact and/or avoid them! These are absolutely vital pieces of equipment and this generous donation frees up more funds to go to Breast Cancer Care.

Cardif Pinnacle also agreed to help the team and became the most recent silver sponsor. An insurance company established in 1971, they provide creditor insurance and product warranties alongside more recent product developements such as Medical Cash Plans, Pet Healthcare and Personal Accident Cover. Cardif Pinnacle were fascinated by the challenge and jumped at the chance to be a part of it.
